1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Bedouin, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (which explains how we handle your data). If you’re using Bedouin on behalf of a company or group, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
Please note: Bedouin is currently in early access / beta. This means features may change, bugs may appear, and stability is not yet guaranteed. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we improve.
2. User Accounts and Eligibility
To use Bedouin, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).
- If under 18, use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
- Use a valid email and provide accurate information.
- Create an account directly or sign in with third-party providers like Apple, Google, or Auth0.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Don’t share your login credentials — you’re responsible for all activity under your account.
3. User Responsibilities and Conduct
We’re building Bedouin as a collaborative and respectful travel planning space. To keep it that way, you agree not to:
- Abuse, harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Post spam, malicious content, or fraudulent information
- Upload viruses or interfere with the platform’s operation
- Misuse features like chat, invites, or attachments
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to investigate and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
When you upload content (like trip plans, chats, messages, attachments, or profile info), you own it.
You grant Bedouin a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, process, and display your content as needed to provide and improve the Service (e.g. syncing trips across devices, generating chat summaries, or recommending stays).
We don’t sell your data or claim ownership over your content.
Our Content
All trademarks, logos, and Bedouin’s platform code and design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell any part of our Service without permission.
5. Subscription Plans and Payments
Bedouin may offer free and paid plans. Subscriptions may include features like additional collaborators, offline storage, or advanced trip tools. If you choose a paid plan:
- You agree to recurring billing unless canceled
- You can cancel anytime; your plan will continue until the end of the billing period
- Pricing and features are subject to change with notice
All payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google).
6. Beta or Pre-Release Access
As an early access user, you may experience experimental or unstable features. We appreciate your help in identifying bugs and shaping the product.
By using TestFlight or other beta builds, you acknowledge:
- Features may be incomplete or change over time
- Data loss or downtime may occur
- We may collect technical feedback or crash logs to improve stability
We welcome your feedback at support@bedouinapp.com.
7. Data and Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
As part of the Service, Bedouin may use AI or automated systems to, but not limited:
- Suggest trip items (e.g., flights, stays, or activities)
- Summarise chat messages
- Detect unusual or potentially fraudulent behaviour
- Provide personalised recommendations
These features are designed to enhance your experience — not to replace human judgment.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Bedouin is provided “as is” and “as available”, especially during our beta phase. While we aim for reliability, we do not guarantee:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That your content will never be lost (please back up important data)
- That results or suggestions will always be accurate
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of Bedouin.
9. Termination and Suspension of Accounts
You may stop using Bedouin at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms
- You engage in harmful conduct
- We are required to do so by law
We’ll do our best to notify you, but we may need to act immediately in some cases.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union (specific jurisdiction to be confirmed once Bedouin is incorporated).
If there’s a legal dispute, you agree to resolve it in an appropriate EU court, unless local laws grant you additional protections.
11. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we’ll notify you via email or in-app.
By continuing to use Bedouin after changes go into effect, you accept the revised Terms.
Thanks for exploring with Bedouin. We’re building this journey together. 🐪
